Sarah LernerSarah Lerner is a Solicitor/Partner and Team Leader of the Community Care Team. She has specialised in Community Care Law for over ten years. She has experience of acting in a wide range of Community Care Cases, assisting with social services complaints and representing claimants in Judicial Review. She has represented numerous young asylum seekers and her reported cases include R v. London Borough of Hillingdon ex parte Berhe and others which established that unaccompanied asylum seeking minors were generally to be considered ‘looked after’ by social services and thus entitled to Leaving Care services. Sarah also practices in Public Law Child Care and Mental Health Law. She is a member of the Solicitor’s Regulation Authority Children and Mental Health Review Tribunal Panels.
