Housing Funding

We will always spend time with you at the beginning discussing the different ways in which your legal case can be funded. This is so that you can clearly understand the funding of your case and make a sensible decision.

We are one of a small number of Firms who have been approved by the Legal Services Commission to offer Public Funding/Legal Aid to prospective Housing clients. Therefore if you are financially eligible for Public Funding/Legal Aid we will apply for it on your behalf.

We are also able to consider with our clients whether or not we can act for them under a Conditional Fee Agreement also known as ‘no-win, no-fee’. This means that we would only take on your case on the basis we would only be paid our costs by you of bringing the case if the case was won. Usually if you win the Opposition pays the costs in any event.

We can also, if you wish, act for you on a Private Hourly Basis and you have the choice, if appropriate of limiting the amount of work we undertake for you or limiting to which stage of the case you wish us to reach.
